King Osric hasn't laughed in seven years, and Chancellor Vexmoor has made laughter against the law. That leaves Merrit Larkspur, the King's Fool, rather short of work. Then Princess Elodie makes her birthday wish: make Father laugh again. A comedic historical fantasy about the power of a good laugh.
