The morning of his daughter's wedding. Doug Pemberton hasn't left his house in 311 days, and when he steps onto the porch for the newspaper, his smart lock clicks shut behind him. The family wedding rings, his phone and every dry piece of clothing he owns are inside, and he is out here in a bathrobe. An everyday comedy of one very long morning in the suburbs.
