Ten years ago Kiran Vael, the youngest Archmage in history, tried to lift a whole city into the sky, and dropped it into a lake. Exiled beneath the falls with a staff that can hold only one borrowed element at a time, he cannot even light his own campfire. Now the floating cities are sinking, and a courier has crash-landed with a summons. A grand fantasy adventure of wind, stone and second chances.
