Bright Acres, 1957: a planned atomic suburb where every home has a ray-oven, every boy a jetpack and every lawn a free chrome robot mower. Dot Lovejoy keeps a perfect home and trusts no appliance. On the morning of the Lawn of Tomorrow contest her only worry is one stubborn dandelion, until noon, when every machine in town gets an update. A sunny retro-futurist comedy of gloriously unreliable gadgets.
