New Mexico Territory, 1879. Ezra Hollis, a grey, quiet former deputy marshal, rides into town to bury his old partner, Sheriff Tom Bell, who was "thrown from his horse". The railroad's agent holds a deed to the town well, and everyone has been told to leave by noon tomorrow. A classic spaghetti western, where nerve, bluff and the people who stand with you count for as much as a fast draw.
